Darwin Accommodation Services aims to provide a range of accommodation to consumers with intellectual disabilities and medium to low support needs to live in the least restrictive environment.

Accommodation Options
|
- Group Home - Nightcliff
Provision of permanent full-time or part-time supervised accommodation for three residents in the house and three residents in a detached flat.

- Self Contained Units
- Alawa -
3 X 2 bedroom units are available for consumers to live independantly with support from a caretaker and accommodation support staff.

- Palmerston
6 X 1 bedroom and 2 X 2 bedroom units are available to live independantly with support from a caretaker and accommodation support staff.

- Community Supported Accommodation
Darwin and Palmerston Support is provided as required for consumers to live independantly in a flat or house in the community.

Darwin Accommodation Services Criteria
|
- Has a disability with low to medium support needs
- Being of age 16 or over
- Being eligible for a Disability Support Pension
- Demonstrate a desire to live in one of the following options:
- Supported Accommodation
- Semi Independant Community Living - with resident caretaker & Outreach Support
- Independant Community Living - with Outreach Support
- At Home or other living arrangements as mutually agreed
- An assessment will be made to ensure that the service has the resource to meet the individual's required level of support

- An Application Form will be sent to you. Complete it and return it to us.
- A meeting will be arranged on receipt of your Application Form to discuss your eligibility and the availability of current accommodation options.
