Mission
Statement
|
HPA
Incorporated (the organisation) provides opportunities for people with
disabilities to learn skills, commensurate with individual ability, and
to engage in meaningful activities within the various enterprises
conducted by HPA.
Members of the Board, management, and staff promote a culture of
competence, caring and encouragement and seek to promote a professional
image in all activities conducted by HPA Incorporated. Applicable
standards are enunciated by the Board and implemented through
management.
|
HPA Incorporated is
administered by a Board of Directors comprising eight people and
receives funding from the Federal Department of Families, Housing,
Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, NT Housing and the Northern
Territory Department of Health & Community Services. Sales from our
core businesses, revenue from our fundraising department, financial
support from charitable trusts, service clubs and donations bridge the
gap between the cost of providing services and Government funding.
Charitable trusts who have supported HPA Incorporated over the
past few years include Tattersall's Holdings, Sylvia & Charles
Viertel Foundation, ANZ Bank, George Alexander Foundation, Ian Potter
Foundation, Annie Danks Trust, HV McKay Foundation and Foundation for
Rural and Regional Renewal.
